M13. Inverse Problems in Geomathematics

This minisymposium is concerned with mathematical inverse problems arising from geophysics. An important first step in these problems is to ask a good question, which is both geophysically relevant and mathematically well formulated. We aim to both promote recent advances in the field and discuss the models and tools used – and find future directions to pursue.
