M4. Undetermined Coefficient/Obstacle Determination for Time-Dependent Problems

Undetermined coefficient problems for partial differential equations have a long history of applications from physics and engineering. Likewise, recovery of obstacles of unknown shape, location and composition has been central to applications such as inverse scattering, the basis of radar and sonar, and tomography. The theoretical and numerical questions are an ongoing topic of research.
This minisymposium will concentrate on those cases where the underlying PDE has a time component.
