M11: Coefficient Identification Problems

We refer to determining unknown coefficients, e.g. conductivity, diffusivity, density, specific heat, permeability, porosity, specific storage, heat capacity, perfusion coefficient, heat transfer coefficient, etc., entering classical partial differential equations of various types. Uniqueness of solution is a major concern, but developing stable methods is also of interest.
