M10: Generalized Inverses and Signal Recovery:Inverse Problems in Signal Recovery

Several decades ago, the connections between the areas of Inverse Problems, Signal Analysis/ Processing and Imaging were rather tenuous. Researchers in one of these areas were often unfamiliar with the relevance and methods of the other two areas. This situation has changed over the last decades because the common thread among these areas has been identified, which is the recovery of information from partial or indirect data about the object. Important developments in the areas of inverse problems and signal analysis/processing, including phase recovery problems and issues related to sparsity, and advances in multivariate sampling theory are main objectives of this minisymposium.
