EAIP Ph.D THESIS AWARD
To encourage young researchers working in the field of inverse problems and applications, The Eurasian Association on Inverse Problems (EAIP) has established an EAIP Ph.D. Thesis Award. The Ph.D. Thesis Awards will be rewarded biennially up to two Ph.D. students who have made the most original and influential contribution to the area, and who submitted their Ph.D. theses to a university in the countries on the Eurasian continent in the period between two Inverse Problems: Modeling and Simulation (IPMS) conferences.
Candidates for the EAIP PhD Thesis Award must be nominated by their supervisor. The nomination must consist of a letter from the supervisor explaining why the thesis should be nominated for the award, and a PDF file of the thesis or its extended abstract in English. Applications for the award start with the registration date of the IPMS Conference and end when registration is completed. The nominations will be evaluated by the EAIP Ph.D. Thesis Award Committee.
The Award Plaque will be presented to the candidate at the Opening Ceremony of the IPMS Conference.
