eaips Eurasian Association on Inverse Problems

The Eurasian Association on Inverse Problems (EAIP) coordinates and supports international research activities of scientists in the Eurasian Plate and elsewhere. The Association was founded on 30 May 2014, during the 7th Biennial International Conference “Inverse Problems: Modeling and Simulation” (IPMS 2014), to improve communication between groups and individuals that work within the multidisciplinary, fast growing field of Inverse Problems, and to exchange and disseminate information in the field.

Inverse Problems

An interdisciplinary journal combining mathematical and experimental papers on inverse problems with theoretical, numerical and practical approaches to their solution.

As well as applied mathematicians, physical scientists and engineers, the readership includes those working in geophysics, radar, optics, biology, acoustics, communication theory, signal processing and imaging, among others.

The emphasis is on publishing original contributions to methods of solving mathematical, physical and applied problems. To be publishable in this journal, papers must meet the highest standards of scientific quality, contain significant and original new science and should present substantial advancement in the field.

Journal of Inverse and Ill-Posed Problems

This journal aims to present original articles on the theory, numerics and applications of inverse and ill-posed problems. These inverse and ill-posed problems arise in mathematical physics and mathematical analysis, geophysics, acoustics, electrodynamics, tomography, medicine, ecology, financial mathematics etc. Articles on the construction and justification of new numerical algorithms of inverse problem solutions are also published.

Issues of the Journal of Inverse and Ill-Posed Problems contain high quality papers which have an innovative approach and topical interest.
